Quick Update, Then Back to Writing
Hey everyone, Just checking in with a blog update. I swear I keep meaning to post more regularly–even went so far as to set a calendar reminder in my phone, but usually what happens is that, instead of hearing the … Continue reading
31 Days of Art, Day 13: Symbiotic
It was Gerry’s turn to have the luck. She’d been pretty patient while Linda’d hung on to it for what had ended up being three weeks past her fair share. Gerry hadn’t minded. Linda had a younger man on the hook, Mr. Arnold Jefferson from two units down, and she’d wanted the luck to make sure she caught him. Continue reading
On the Shelf: Reading for Fun
This past weekend, the walls finally started to close in just a little too tightly in the RV… So, instead of breaking out the stack of business books like I had planned, I dove into some fiction reading to give … Continue reading
On the Shelf: My TBR Pile
So, here’s the thing. I grew up a reader. Not just a reader—but the kind of kid who regularly got in trouble for, nagged at because I was instead of doing something else, or punished by taking away reading. (Not … Continue reading

But, I also recognize the importance of daily list tracking and, every once in a while, giving myself a break to have a beer. Continue reading
Thoughts About NaNoWriMo…
I don’t think I’m going to be attempting NaNoWriMo this year … although every year I say that, and then every year I end up at least going to the website and starting a project. Some years I actually finish … Continue reading
Meet the Author: Christy Mann
I struggle with the frustrations that come with editing, publishing, and marketing the work once it’s written. I remind myself that it is all part of the process and I can’t just pick and do the parts that I like if I want to get anywhere. Continue reading
